What another beautiful day! really missing just being able to be outside. ...the things we take for granted.
Our little man is FINALLY feeling better this morning! all smiles, laughter...back to his "naughty" little self. :D i'm also feeling a little better, physically anyways...
Casting Crowns has been just what i needed this morning. East to West came on, and i started tearing up~ hayla said, "mommy it's ok! Red will come back and be ok soon!" my sweet, innocent baby girl. praising the Lord for allowing her to keep her innocence, and just be a kid. my precious "unexpected gift" ~ mama cant imagine my life without you, you have saved my life in so many ways, so many times.
yesterday was exhausting, i won't lie...but it was good to see everyone, even though we werent able to just hang out and relax like we would have liked. it was difficult. wanted to do so much more for our mothers this year...
church was refreshing and it was amazing to have kodey next to me. even though it was only my second time attending kent city baptist, it already feels like it's where we are meant to be. would love to get back to ada bible at some point for some services, but kodey has asked that for now we just attend as the 4 of us. as you can imagine, it's a bit overwhelming for him. he is making a huge sacrifice. even if he doesn't believe, he is trying and knows how much it means to me and hayla. keep praying!!! OPEN THE EYES OF HIS HEART LORD!
we are continually overwhelmed with all the love, support, and gifts. we KNOW that we are not in this alone...and that is such.an.amazing.feeling.~knowing we have others to help carry us, when we dont know if we can carry ourselves.
oh! we are looking for a travel trailer. hoping if we can find one, maybe insurance would cover the cost to buy if reasonable, or would at least rent. think it would be a lot cheaper for them than putting us up in a home or hotel room for the summer. and this way, we could be HOME...and when we need a break from everything for a few days, could just hitch to our navigator and find a nice, secluded camping lot somewhere...focus on the kids. the insurance company will cover the cost of a travel trailer to be put on our property, but it could be a liability for them if we were to take it anywhere...so even if you know of someone who is a travel trailer vendor and would be willing to be flexible with us? does this make sense?
idk. we need to figure out something to get out of this hotel room!
